How to cook rice with minced meat

Carrots and onions – peel and finely chop. Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Set the multicooker to the “fry” mode. Place onions and carrots in a multicooker bowl. Fry onions and carrots for 10 minutes until golden brown. Then add minced meat to the multicooker bowl and continue frying everything together. When the minced meat is half cooked, switch the multicooker to “stew” mode and cook the minced meat with vegetables for 10 minutes. Then pour rice into the multicooker bowl and pour two glasses of water. Set the multicooker to the “pilaf” cooking mode and set the timer for 40 minutes. Salt, pepper and add spices to taste. Rice – 400 g;

Minced meat (I used pork) – 300-350 g;

Carrots – 1-2 pcs.;

Onion – 1 pc.;

Garlic – 3 cloves;

Vegetable oil – 1-2 tbsp. l.;

Tomato paste, ketchup or adjika – 3 tbsp. l.;

Salt - to taste;

Ground black pepper - to taste;

Filtered water – 600-700 ml.

Recipe for cooking rice in a slow cooker with minced meat:

Peel the onion and garlic, wash and cut into small cubes; the garlic can be cut into slices or passed through a press.

Grease the multicooker bowl (I cooked in the Dex dmc-60 model) sunflower oil and heat for 5 minutes in the “Baking” or “Frying” mode. Then add the onion, garlic and cook in the prescribed mode, stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes. Peel the carrots, wash and grate on a coarse grater or cut into small cubes. After the onion becomes transparent, add carrots to it. Fry vegetables for 2 minutes.

Add minced meat to the prepared vegetables.

Add salt, black or red ground pepper, mix everything together and cook the minced meat until the color changes. This takes approximately 3-4 minutes.

Wash the rice thoroughly, changing the water several times. Add it to the slow cooker.

Pour in warm water(it should cover our dish completely), add any available tomato sauce(tomato paste, ketchup, adjika, lecho, tomatoes in their own juice, tomato juice etc.).
